Baby Chicks

Today I become the proud mother of 28 baby chicks. I know, I know. I can scarcely believe it myself. In preparation of motherhood, I researched everything I could possibly find on raising chicks. Food, water, a warm place to rest their little heads, and lots of love are things I can promise my chicks.
Getting ready to receive the chicks into our home has been exciting- we just completed a chicken coop for the babies and everything is setup for their eventual move outside. Right now, however, I get to enjoy hearing their sweet little chirping noises filling the room while I do things around the house.
The only thing that worries me is that I just HAD to have six more chickens than we planned to get... I just kept falling in love with them! Where will I put the extra six?!
